HORSEBACK RIDING: Conner Carriages offers 2-hour guided trail rides through scenic pastures, historical landmarks and a working, 700 acre horse and cattle ranch. Francis Lake Golf Club is a public course, 229-559-7961 or www.francislake.com. A brand new course is opening in April of 2004. Watch for updates on that course. CANOEING & HIKING: The Suwannee River State Park has both the Suwannee River Canoe Trail and the Withlacoochee River Canoe Trail. Both trails begin in Georgia and end at the park. These trails provide beautiful, pristine views of the natural riverbanks in North Florida and South Georgia. Nature trails wind along the river bank for a self-guided tour of hardwood hammocks and pine forests.
